Indeed, career experts agree that job-search tools and profiles may be lacking for the growing numbers of older people searching for work. “While these programs are simple to use, the vast majority of these tools are designed for older workers,” says Eric Schmidt, CEO of CareerBuilder. “It is my hope that over time we will be able to provide this population with more and better tools to help them find the right fit.”
According to CareerBuilder and the researchers, part-time positions have the highest percentage of part-timers than any other type of job. Many of these positions are in areas such as customer service, marketing, technical writing, administrative support, and administration. When all jobs for seniors are examined, then home care seems to have the highest percentage of the highest paying part-time jobs for seniors at home.
For the first four of the ten highest paying part-time jobs for seniors at home, the top three positions all pertain to nursing. Nursing aides, licensed practical nurses, and registered nurses all topped the list.
While nursing has been a favorite choice for many, it has relatively low pay, so employers find the fun part-time jobs for seniors at home to be an attractive option. Home care services offer jobs that pay decent wages, and these positions can be fun and engaging. The research found that the best-paying jobs for seniors at home also included sales and marketing, accounting, and human resources.

More interestingly, these jobs are often utilized by baby boomers.
